When I tell you this shop saved my wedding. I literally mean it. They SAVED my wedding. I bought my dress from a well known boutique in DFW. Me, being a first time bride, went with the motions and thought everything was great. I was forced into a dress 4 sizes too small until I was told that in shop dresses "stretch out" and that's why i was able to fit it at my initial appointment. I was sent to their recommended tailor and shelled out over $800 for alterations including a corset and to have the hips let out. That's not even including the dress being hemmed because it wasn't "recommended". I went for my final fitting and it was a distaster. I didn't fit it. I couldn't even sit down. That's where Saras Bridal saved the day. I accepted the fact that I just needed to buy a completely new dress even after I had spent almost 5k total including alterations. I went in thinking I was going to have to find a new dress but they were confident they could fix the one I already bought. Thank God. Suzie is absolutely amazing. If I didn't start out as a client, she would totally be considered a friend of mine. She assured me that Sara could fix it. Sara has so much experience in the field. Sure enough, after a week, my dress is IMMACULATE. I just picked it up today and my wedding is in two days. They are wonderful, caring people. Not only is their customer service exceptional, they also had my exact dress in store for much much less than what I paid at the bigger boutique. I regret not going there in the first place. Future brides - PLEASE shop small. Saras Bridal also offers sizes for curvier brides in store vs sizes like 2 or 4. Most of their dresses start at size 10!! Love this place so much. Please give them a try before thinking you HAVE to get your dress from bigger boutiques. You will be so surprised. Let my mistake be the lesson you don't want to learn!
